Predilux provides a professional tool for predicting key light exposure based on measured light meter readings. Users can select a light source and distance to estimate exposure, or alternatively specify an exposure value to determine the required distance to the light source.

The application accounts for various camera settings such as FPS, ISO, and Shutter speed, as well as source configurations including focalization, lens type, and grid attachments. Additionally, it considers the impact of gels, encompassing diffusion filters, CTO/CTB gels, CTS gels, green correction, and numerous other effects.

All results have been validated through empirical testing with light meters in rental equipment shops. Predilux does not depend on manufacturer’s data, ensuring more accurate and user-controlled predictions.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of September 1st, 2023, Predilux transitions to a subscription-based pricing model. The annual subscription will be priced at $14.99 per year or $1.49 per month with the option to cancel at any time. Customers who purchase Predilux prior to this date will be eligible for two years of free access.
